Exploring Council Bluffs, IA

Lewis and Clark Monument and Scenic Overlook provides amazing views of the Missouri River and Downtown Omaha. Beautiful views of the prairie land and the river can also be enjoyed at the Lincoln Monument at Lincoln Monument Park.

Architecture and history lovers won’t want to miss a tour of The Historic General Dodge House.  Built in 1869 on what was truly the frontier, the fourteen room, Victorian mansion was home to one of the nation’s greatest railroad builders of the 19th century.

Golfers love the fact that several popular courses, including Fox Run Golf Course and Dodge Riverside Golf Club are just a short drive from The Heritage at Fox Run.

Shoppers flock to Metro Crossing Shopping Center and Shadow Lake Towne Center for unique finds and great deals alike. Antique lovers will enjoy both Lake Manawa Antiques and Imaginarium Old Market Mercantile.

If dinner for two, four, or more is your idea of the perfect activity, 360 Steakhouse not only offers great views from its rooftop location, but it is also adjacent to Harrah’s Casino, for those who love to try out their luck. If on-trend, fresh, and creative are what you seek in an ideal restaurant, be sure to make reservations for The Boiler Room on Jones Street.
