Respite Care in Bellevue, NE

Heritage Ridge understands that a secure place to stay with care available may sometimes only be needed in the short term. For those situations, we offer short-term respite care and recovery care services for seniors in the southern Omaha area. As a caregiver, you may have several reasons for needing to take a break from your duties, and we are happy to be a comfortable place for your loved one to stay anywhere from two weeks to three months at a daily rate. Your well-being as a caregiver is vitally important, and having the ability to recharge makes the time you spend with your loved one all the more special.

We also offer recovery care services for seniors needing somewhere to stay following surgeries or rehab stays. Our apartment homes provide a place more comfortable than rehab hospital and skilled nursing center rooms, but still with comprehensive care your loved one may not have access to at home, all the while, therapy and recovery processes may be continued with us or their health care provider.

Those in recovery care are welcome to join in on any activities hosted during their stay, promoting positive mindsets as they recover. 

Guests in respite and recovery care are entitled to all the same perks as our full-time residents, including activities, dining, transportation, and more.

We are centered between the familiar neighborhoods of Avery, Capehart, and Paradise Park, and our apartment homes have been called home by Bellevue locals and veterans for over a decade. Since we are just up the road from the intersection of Highway 370 and Highway 75, you’ll have easy access to popular attractions, parks, and restaurants around the Omaha area, making family visits a breeze.
For fun and leisure beyond our cozy pub and scenic courtyard, our residents are frequent visitors of the Lied Activity Center for family-friendly recreation and Fontenelle Forest for peaceful walks through nature. We are proud to serve veterans and their families, many of whom take weekly trips to the AFB, and we honor every service member who walks through our doors in ways that go beyond the wall of honor we have on display.
