What To Expect With The Heritage at Fox Run Memory Care

Visitors to The Heritage at Fox often comment on how our memory care is so different from what they expect after visiting others.  It is designed to feel like home, just like every other area within our lovely community. Our dedicated caregivers, who are on-site and on-call 24/7, facilitate an environment of empathy, respect, trust, and fun using the Montessori method of dementia care. This positive, expert-approved approach puts your loved one at the center, treating them with dignity and encouraging active involvement and decision-making.

Our certified and attentive care team, on-site 24/7 embraces compassion, trust, respect, and fun in every aspect of our residents’ care. We take the time to get to know the little things that matter, like their favorite ice cream flavors or what time they like to wake up in the morning. All associates are trained in the Montessori Method of dementia care. Our unique training program reflects a person-centered positive approach blending the principles of Maria Montessori, Teepa Snow, and our team of internal certified dementia experts.

AUGi: Enhancing Memory Care Safety With Science and Technology

At The Heritage at Fox Run, we’ve incorporated cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology into our care process. We use an artificial intelligence-enabled memory care monitoring system, AUGi, that provides comfort and security to residents and their families. AUGi carefully tracks residents’ movements and promptly notifies our team and loved ones of any activity that may necessitate assistance. We anticipate that this groundbreaking technology will help prevent falls and hospitalizations for our residents. AUGi is not just reactive, it provides predictive intelligence by identifying changes in behavior and conditions so our caregivers can address potential concerns and intervene earlier, resulting in even better care for your loved one.
