Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead

Frequently Asked Questions

When choosing a senior living community for your loved one, you want to find somewhere that is easy to navigate and get around. Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead is built around our beautiful courtyard, looping around in a circular pattern that’s accessible to our community members.

Explore our free Family Decision Toolkit Guide for more on how we help residents live life on their terms.

Giving your loved ones the care they need is our top priority–however, we understand that you may have questions about paying for a senior living stay. Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead only accepts private sources of payment for memory care services and for the first two years of your loved ones’ assisted living residency. The only exception is Veterans Aid and Assistance benefits available to veterans and spouses.

Oftentimes, families use their savings, retirement accounts, inheritances, and funds obtained from selling or renting their homes. Men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces may also be able to utilize veterans’ benefits for senior living.

There are also insurance options that offer coverage for long-term care expenses and can help reimburse costs for in-home care, assisted living stays, or residency in a nursing home. Some life insurance policies may even include benefits to help with long-term care expenses.

We encourage you to explore our guide to find out how to fund your senior living needs.

Assisted living involves helping with everyday tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, medication, eating, using the restroom, walking, and more. We conduct a thorough assessment of all of our residents before moving in to help create an individualized service plan that our care associates follow.

Memory care provides a nurturing and conducive environment for those living with various forms of conditions like dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Our associates support residents with memory care services in a secure environment to preserve a sense of independence while minimizing day-to-day challenges.

Learn more in our blog about how to decide when the time is right to transition from assisted living to memory care.

Aside from long-term stays, Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead offers short-term respite care to assist seniors and their families during times of recovery, rehabilitation, or transition.

Whether your loved one needs some extra time after a hospital stay or simply isn’t feeling up-to-speed, our respite care services provide a comfortable solution. We show deep compassion to our recovering residents, helping guide them along as they improve while providing engaging and enriching support.
