The Heritage at Legacy often hosts guest residents here on temporary stays through our respite and recovery care program. These customizable services are designed to support your loved ones in recovery after a hospital discharge or when your regular caregiver is unable to provide services. We’re here to fill that gap so those you care about can always experience the quality care they deserve. No matter how long your stay may be, we’ll treat you like family.

Respite Care Services and Amenities

We strive to create a homelike environment where residents feel comfortable and cared for, no matter how long their stay may be. Our respite care services include a fully furnished studio or one-bedroom apartment home equipped with cable television, wireless high-speed internet, and all utilities, including individually controlled heat and air conditioning.

During your time with us, our dedicated care team provides assistance with daily activities according to your ability, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, along with medication management and a personal safety pendant call system for 24-hour assistance.

  • Certified and attentive care staff on site 24/7
  • Weekly whirlpool bath
  • A fully furnished and comfortable apartment
  • Welcoming invitations to all social events
  • Continuation of any rehabilitative care they may have been assigned upon discharge from a prior medical setting

Community Services and Amenities

During their stay, respite care residents have access to all the amenities and services our community offers. Respite care residents are invited to participate in our social events and enjoy three healthy meals a day in our dining room, along with the level of care and attention as full-time residents.

Additional services are available to accommodate you on your journey to recovery, including religious services, a salon and barbershop, and exercise facilities. Enjoy reading a book in the library, social hour in the pub, and a great movie with other residents in our community room. Small pets are a welcome addition to our community, so please bring your furry friend along with you as you relax and recover at The Heritage at Legacy.
