Near The Heritage at Sagewood in Grand Island, NE


Grand Island has a little bit of everything to offer, and since many of our residents come from surrounding Hall, Sherman, Buffalo, Howard, and Merrick Counties, they’ll indeed feel a slice of home everywhere they go. Our community in Grand Island is right off State Street and just a four-minute drive from the Conestoga Marketplace and down the street from Walmart. 

Our lovely town is best known for hosting the Nebraska State Fair. This annual event is a hit among our residents, featuring a range of entertainment, from concerts to rodeos. Not only do we visit each year for Older Nebraskans Day, but our residents create projects to be put on exhibit at the fair for the chance to win ribbons! 


Your loved one can spend their Saturday watching horse races at Fonner Park or enjoy a trip to a local winery with their friends. Enjoy a family meal at Wasabi Bistro or Fuji Steakhouse, and grab dessert at Big Red Treats or The Chocolate Bar. Between pumpkin patches, the casino, and the annual sandhill crane migration, there’s something for everyone in Grand Island.
