Heritage Communities is excited to announce the addition of Jennifer Hellbusch to the home office team. Jennifer will serve as the Director of Heritage Healthcare, overseeing company-wide care initiatives, guiding clinical practices and protocols, and responsible for overarching directives related to health and safety of our residents.

Jennifer started her career in healthcare over 20 years ago as an aide at a long term care facility. While working as an aide, she knew this is where her passion was and decided to advance her career in healthcare. Jennifer completed her degree at St. Luke’s College in Sioux City, IA and became and RN in 2009.

She continued her focus in long term care and skilled nursing facilities, advancing to roles including wound nurse, infection control specialist, Assistant Director, Director of Nursing, and Regional Clinical Educator. Jennifer has worked at facilities in both rural and urban community settings, and understands the unique demands of each, allowing for her to craft solutions to each location’s particular needs.

Jennifer’s passion is caring for our aging population and this passion seems to grow deeper with every new year and challenge. She derives satisfaction from improving the lives of the residents through direct interaction, mentorship, and development of the team that cares for them.

Jennifer will join the Heritage Communities team on February 15, 2021 and can be reached at jhellbusch@heritage-communities.com at that time.
