Activities and Events at The Heritage at Shalimar Gardens in Fremont, NE

You’ll never run out of things to do at The Heritage at Shalimar Gardens. From morning exercise classes and stimulating mental puzzles to afternoon art clubs and evening social gatherings, we go out of our way to arrange events and activities that keep our residents sharp, social, and smiling. Remember, fun is one of our core values!

We host a variety of special events and holiday parties throughout the year, creating warm and memorable experiences your entire family can enjoy together. One of our most beloved events is the “Night at the North Pole” Christmas party, where we invite you and your loved ones to join us with delicious food, joyful music, and holiday cheer. While we love our all-out holiday celebrations, we want you to see you year-round!

Introverted? Do all these activities sound like too much? You’re welcome to sit back and watch too! All our resident activities are open to family participation, so we encourage you to join your loved ones and explore the enriching experiences we work so hard to provide. Nothing brings more joy and life to our community than visiting grandchildren! We love and welcome them!

One of the standout features of our activities program, and a local favorite, is our resident plays. Our talented residents audition for roles, rehearse diligently, and perform in front of an enthusiastic audience of neighbors and family members. We even publish a playbill to build excitement. Originally started by a group of creative residents, this much-loved tradition has become a staple of life in our community, and it was all possible thanks to our close relationships with our residents and their families.
Your feedback is important to us, and your recommendations and those of your loved ones help drive our upcoming activities in a direction that everyone can enjoy. Explore our event calendar to see what’s next, and please reach out to us with any questions or suggestions.
