If your loved one is living with cognitive impairments, their care plan may include our innovative Snapshots program, which connects residents with similar interests to partake in smaller group activities shaped to their past passions. Through our programming, we offer engaging activities and events to fill your loved one’s schedule while always being ready to assist with their activities for daily living (ADLs), giving them the most comfortable living experience possible. Whether they’re crafting, cooking, or participating in an on-site religious service, we want to make The Heritage at Sagewood just like home for your loved one.
Additionally, The Heritage at Sagewood offers a unique program for memory care residents known as Portraits®. This Montessori-style program allows our residents to participate in activities directly related to their personalities and interests, giving them a clear purpose in our community.

Respite & Recovery Stays in Grand Island, NE

At The Heritage at Sagewood, we offer respite care services to support Grand Island area seniors and their families.  Being a caregiver is no easy task, and taking a break is so important for both you and your loved one. Our respite care offers your loved one a cozy place to stay for a couple of weeks or even up to three months, giving you a chance to take care of personal matters, recharge, and come back feeling refreshed and ready to spend quality time with them again.

Our Grand Island community also offers recovery stays for those needing extra support after surgery or rehab. Your loved one who is not quite ready to be on their own at home can continue their recovery with us, enjoying access to all our resources, activities, and amenities.
