Our Care Philosophy for Assisted Living

The Heritage at Sagewood puts the needs of the individual first, including their physical and mental well-being and their dignity and comfort. Being trusted to aid in activities of daily living (ADLs) is not something we take lightly, which is why we take the time to build strong relationships. We meet with each resident before moving in to determine how we can support them in their health-related needs and beyond. This way, we can always prioritize making them feel safe and independent. This level of care (LOC) assessment allows our healthcare services team to develop a comprehensive service plan tailored to your loved one’s needs.

Additionally, we proudly offer our specialty program designed for assisted living residents, Snapshots. This is perfect for residents with mild cognitive impairments to keep them thriving in assisted living for as long as possible. With intentional one-on-one time, small group activities, enhanced care, and wellness checks, we help your loved one feel independent and engaged with us while their routine slowly evolves. With both memory care and assisted living under one roof, residents won’t have to move outside our community if their care needs change. They can stay close to the friends they’ve made and any spouses with different care plans.
