Our Care Philosophy for Assisted Living

As assisted living residents may need support with their routine activities of daily living (ADLs), our caring associates are trained to help in a way that does not impede on their self-esteem. We foster authentic relationships and build trust with your loved one so we can be there for them fully, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Our team will meet with your loved one before moving in to understand how our services can make them feel the most at home, taking note of their preferences, health needs, and the things that bring happiness into their everyday lives. This assessment of their level of care allows us to create a personalized service plan unique to each person. The Heritage at College View offers multiple Levels of Care, extending beyond other area communities, and makes every attempt to help your loved one stay as long as possible in their Heritage home.
We want your loved one to maintain a sense of familiarity and comfort here in our community as their support needs change over time. The Heritage at College View offers our Snapshots program, designed for assisted living residents with mild cognitive impairments, to help them thrive within the assisted living environment as long as possible.  Snapshots includes facilitated small group social activities, individual wellness checks, and added care. In this way, we promote positive mental and emotional well-being for all residents, giving them a social outlet while their routine slowly shifts.
